Tropical Thai Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie Bowl

Origin: Thailand

Inspired by Thailand, this easy and quick pineapple-banana-coconut smoothie bowl
topped with fresh tropical fruit and granola is the perfect way to start your day.


1 cup frozen pineapple

1/2 banana

1/4 cup frozen coconut (I used Trader Joe’s Frozen Coconut chunks)

2/3 cup coconut water (If you prefer a stronger pineapple flavor, you can substitute pineapple juice)

1/2 cup crushed ice


1/4 Red Papaya

1/2 Banana

1/2 Apple

1/4 cup Granola (I used Trader Joe’s coconut granola)


  1. Prep/cut fresh fruit toppings
  2. Add pineapple, banana, coconut, coconut water and crushed ice into a blender and blend until all ingredients are smooth and free of any large chunks.
  3. Add smoothie mixture to a large bowl and smooth the top to create an even layer
  4. Top with desired fruits and granola
  5. Enjoy!


This is a very versatile recipe and any of the fruits or toppings can be swapped out with your favorites! Feel free to customize with your favorite fruit combinations, granola, or other toppings of your choice.
